Once again I present some music I created for some video work. The first track “urbania” was used in an advertisement for 510 Threads. The production got me hooked on music engineering once again. There are several others that are short and ready for 30 second spots. “fun key”, “lol cats”, “summer”, and “funky tango” were all alternative songs I produced for the 510 threads project. “lol cats” was inspired by catwalk music. I wanted to combine catwalk and quirky cats to become an enjoyable vibrant danceable song.

This time I wanted to combine dubstep, reggae, and electronic chill in new ways. I learned even more about mastering. I tried to set up the sound on this record to be a bit hip hop and boomy. I really enjoy playing with the subsonics and creating bass textures. I may have taken this direction to the extreme so listen loud and crank up the bass if you dare. The listening party trimmed 3 songs away to be reworked for the next record. Susie’s favorite songs are “lefty’s rights” and “AMing” and the whole record has the Susie seal of approval. I hope you dig it too.
